Earl grew up in Lawrenceburg, KY and was a man of action but of few words. He was a farmer that worked hard for his family and was always willing to help anyone in need. Earl served in Germany directly out of high school following the end of WWII from 1946 through 1949.
He retired as Anderson County’s Road Foreman, a farmer, and a former school bus driver for the Anderson County Board of Education.
The scholarship is awarded annually to an eligible applicant that fully embodies the spirit of service in their community as determined by the Patriot Legacy Fund scholarship committee.
